The Embassy's First Secretary attended the opening ceremonies for the two bilateral trainings held in Beijing.
The opening ceremony for the bilateral training course on "Food Industry Technology" was held on Tuesday, 10th June 2025. The training invited 22 members from Samoa's private sector including the Vice President and Executive Board Member of Samoa Association of Manufacturers and Exporters (SAME), senior officials from Samoa Business Hub and the Scientific Research Organization of Samoa (SROS) and 16 business owners/ representatives in the food and beverage industry. This is the second bilateral training in the field of food technology to be offered by China for Samoa.
The opening ceremony for the training course on "Chinese Language & Culture for Government Officials from Samoa" was held on 18th June 2025. 25 Government officials from different Ministries, Government Corporations and Agencies were invited to participate in the noted training course aimed to promote the Chinese language and culture. The course on Chinese language and Culture is the first of its kind to be offered to Government officials from Samoa.
